I am a writer in Northern California with a deep connection to the land and politics of the state and nation. Education; BA from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Golden Gate University.

 While not working on our small hobby farm, we travel around the world absorbing local cultures and political systems. In addition to novels, I often write short position papers and some things just for the fun of it.

Venus

The Venus de Milo, a historical misnomer corrupted by art historians who considered Roman identification more scholarly and therefore Romanized many Greek masterpieces. So, we’re actually considering Aphrodite of Milos by Alexandros of Antioch on the Meander in the second century BC. Furthermore, the statue is carved from Parian marble which is only quarried on the Greek island of Paros.
